New Zealand toured Ireland and won both the ODI and T20I series.
The 3rd T20 match took place after New Zealand had already won the series after winning the first two matches of the 3 T20 series.

Ireland won the toss and batted first and scored 174 runs in 20 overs. Opener Paul Sterling scored 40 off 29 balls. Tucker (23) and Tekdar (28) also contributed. However, it was Mark Adder’s impressive batting that made Ireland reach 174 runs. Adir, who played aggressively, scored 37 runs off 15 balls with 2 fours and 4 sixes.
Chasing down the target of 175 runs, although openers Guptill (25) and Finn Allen (14) cheated, Glenn Phillips batted tremendously as he has done in other matches of this series and scored a half-century and ended the match with 56 runs. He was supported by Daryl Mitchell who scored 48 runs.

Jimmy Neesham scored 23 runs off 6 balls with 2 fours and 2 sixes, hitting the target in the 19th over as New Zealand won by 6 wickets and whitewashed Ireland to win the T20I series 3-0.
Glenn Phillips also won 2 awards – Man of the Match 3rd T20I and Man of the Series T20I.
