‘Knowledge’ means ‘intellect’, ‘thought’, ‘Who are you?’ Actor Rajinikanth has said that ‘where are you from?’, ‘caste’ is all added. And he has money, fame, name, I have met great politicians. But even 10 percent does not give me peace or happiness. Because happiness and peace are not permanent,” said Rajinikanth.
While his speech was well received by spiritual supporters, many took to social media to react to his speech.
A self-identified Rajini fan said that Rajini’s speech should be taken as a life lesson.
Actor Rajinikanth attended the Yogatha Sat Sangam’s book launch function held in Chennai on Friday evening. Appearing in public after a long time, he shared many things on the show.
Speaking on the program, he said, “Rather than leaving behind property while living, we should not remain a patient. This is a suffering for everyone. We should die without going to the hospital. I have been to the hospital twice.”
I have seen everything in life like money, name, fame, top. I am familiar with all the big politicians. But even 10 percent is not peace and happiness. Rajinikanth said that they are all temporary.
What is the background of the film Baba??
Rajinikanth also explained the background of the kite scene in Baba.
“One day when a kite was going away, Yogananda said to his sister that he would bring the kite to her hand. His name was Mukunda at that time. His sister asked him how it could be, and when Yogananda looked at the kite as it was, the kite fell into his hands. His sister saw it and said, “It Something happened by accident. You can fly another kite again,” he says.
Second a kite also comes and sits on his hand. That’s what I kept in the film Baba,” said Rajinikanth.
Earlier he spoke about spirituality. He reported that he was confused about what to talk about, even though he had studied a large subject and many books. Touching on matters close to his heart, the veteran actor said that though he has acted in many films, only ‘Sri Raghavendra’ and ‘Baba’ have given him “soul satisfaction”. He also remarked that he does not know how to thank those great souls who cast him in those films. After the release of Sri Raghavendra and Baba films (in 1985 and 2002 respectively) many people came to know about them. A large number of people became members of the Yogada after seeing Baba’s image and some went to the Himalayas to visit the Aniket Cave, which was later closed.
A devotee of Mahavatar Babaji, Rajinikanth said, “While I am standing before you as an actor, two of my fans have become yogic ascetics.”
Paramahamsa Yogananda, a disciple of Lahiri Mahasya who trained in Kriya Yoga, is said to be ‘Babaji’.
Rajinikanth said that Paramahamsa Yogananda had special powers from a young age and that the kite incident in the movie Baba was greatly influenced by Babaji.
Rajinikanth, who is known to practice Kriya Yoga, noted that it is very simple and effective. He also said that it activates the chakras in the spine and improves one’s well-being.
“If you learn Kriya Yoga, it’s not that you won’t face problems, but you will have the strength and courage to face them,” Rajini said. Rajini also said that if one practices Kriya Yoga, there is a chance of not getting caught in the cycle of negativism as opposed to divine positivism.
“So, you become what you think you will become. You start seeing things objectively instead of subjectively,” he said.
Like Ambani, Adani support
The guiding force of gurus like Babaji is like the support of thousands of Ambanis and Adhanis for us.
“They will take care of us. The souls of Prophet, Jesus, Krishna, Buddha, Babaji will be with us. We should prepare ourselves to receive their blessings through Kriya Yoga and I noticed the change in me through this,” he said.
Earlier, Rajinikanth sat in a meditative position on the stage earlier when senior sanyasi Swami Sutthananda Giri of the Yogada Satsang Society of India (YSSI) appealed to the audience to meditate for a few minutes. Then as he spoke, he began his discourse by chanting, “Om Guruve Saranam.”
