Today at around 11:00 the police received a report of a suspected murder in an apartment in the city of Beit Shemesh, after the bodies of a father and his wife were found in the city. Upon receiving the report about the case, large police forces from the Beit Shemesh station and the criminal identification officers of the Jerusalem District arrived at the scene and began investigative operations.
A preliminary examination of the details of the incident reveals that it is a man in his 40s who arrived at his ex-wife’s apartment, where she lives with their children while their daughter in her 20s stayed there alone. The incident was reported by her brother (a 17-year-old minor), after he entered the house and noticed their bodies. Knives were seized at the scene, which are suspected to have been used to commit the murder on the spot.
The commander of the Jerusalem district, Superintendent Doron Turgeman, was present at the scene to assess the situation with the commanders at the scene of the incident and directed the continuation of the investigation. The police opened an investigation into the circumstances of the incident.

Police forces were called to the scene and began collecting findings and evidence. The initial suspicion is that it is a murder and suicide scene.
MDA reported: “At 11:06 a.m., MDA’s 101 call center in the Jerusalem area received a report of 2 unconscious wounded in a house in Beit Shemesh. MDA medics and paramedics report a man in his 40s and a woman in her 20s with penetrating injuries without signs of life and determine their death.”
A paramedic on a motorcycle from MDA Oshri Adri: “When we entered the apartment, we saw the man and the woman unconscious with penetrating and bleeding injuries on their bodies. We performed medical tests but they were without signs of life and we had to pronounce them dead.”
