The 6th season of the Tamil Nadu Premier League series, which is a series to discover quality young Tamil Nadu cricketers, is being held from June 23rd in the cities of Tirunelveli, Coimbatore, Salem and Dindigul. In this, the ongoing 28-match league round has reached its peak. In the 25th league match of this series held on July 22, defending champions Chepag and Tirupur played a multi-exam.

Curly Tirupur:
Fortunately, Sasidev, who showed action at the last minute, scored 45* (29) with 3 fours and 2 sixes, and the team managed to score 133/9 in the allotted 20 overs. Grist took maximum 3 wickets while bowling on behalf of Tirupur. Chasing an easy target of 134, Tirupur then dismissed opener Aravind for 10 (10) before young spinner Sai Kishor stunned Rajkumar by ducking out the next infielder.
So the team that got off to a modest start of 25/2 was deceived by the next man Pabna getting out for 9 (13) and another opener Srikanth Aniruddha getting out for 25 (26). At that stage, Tushar Raheja 11 (14) Francis Roggins 8 (17) all the remaining batsmen were dismissed in quick succession by the hot bowling of Chepauk.

So Tirupur lost all their wickets in 19.3 overs and were reduced to just 73 runs. So, Chepauk, who won by 60 runs, recorded their 5th win in 7 matches and advanced to the 2nd place in the points table. Sai Kishore took 4 wickets and Sandeep Wariyar took 3 wickets for Chepakkam.

2. Sai Kishore, who is ranked 2nd behind him, also holds the great honor of becoming the first spinner to bowl 3 maiden overs and concede fewer runs in a T20I match.
