The OIG company specializes in the production, import and marketing of household electrical products. The family company was founded by the brothers Itzik and Ofer Gabai more than 25 years ago.
The company’s CEO and owner, Ofer Gabai, states that OIG aims to reach a sales turnover of approximately NIS 100 million within 3 years, to double the market share in the kitchen electrical products segment and to become a market leader in the small kitchen and home sector with a 10% share. The company also stated Because during 2023-2024 the DAVO brand products will be sold in several sales points in major cities around the world, among others in France, England, Germany and the USA.
Also, the company intends to expand with the DAVO brand activity to additional products, among them: a line of coffee machines, housewares, and complementary accessories for the world of baking. Recently, the company launched a new mixer of the DAVO brand: DAVO PRO 5760 at a price of NIS 3,890.
Ofer Gabbai, co-CEO and owner of OIG, noted: “The Corona period gave us all a lot of time at home, which led us to look for new hobbies such as home cooking and baking, and therefore the demand for electrical products for the kitchen has never been so high. I can point to an increase in market share from 2% to 30% for the DAVO + DAVO PRO brand in the area of mixers and an increase of 50% in the area of homemade ice cream machines.
