Ariel Geifman’s route to the exit

by time news

Ariel Geifman was released from the army after serving as a producer on IDF radio (alongside Aviv Frankel who interviews him here), and naturally continued in the field of communication – until he felt it was time for something else.

He went to the USA, completed business administration studies and found a job at a pharmaceutical consulting company, until the economic crisis of 2008 came and with it the cutbacks. Ariel took on several senior positions in Israeli high-tech, and then decided to start something of his own.

During the beginning of the corona epidemic, he founded Deltail with partners, which developed a platform for analyzing customer information from dozens of different information sources, without writing a single line of code. In this way, the company’s systems allow non-technical teams to get in-depth insights quickly and efficiently.

DelTail raised only 1.7 million dollars and after only two years the company was sold for 20 million dollars, with Ariel continuing to lead the entire sales set of the merged company. In an interview with the “30 Minutes or Less” podcast, he tells about entrepreneurship in the days of Corona, life after the exit and what a background in broadcast production, including service at the military station, can give an entrepreneur.
