The series will be produced by the production company Mindhouse. Nancy Strang, its creative director and executive producer of the new series, said: “(Zuckerberg) has arguably done more than anyone in this century to change human behavior and connection.” Jack Bootle, director of commissioning, science and natural history at the BBC, who commissioned the series, added that “there has never been a better time to tell the founder’s story – and to appreciate the seismic impact of his work on world culture”.
