Dubai: 2000 plots have been allotted in Dubai for construction of houses for Emirati families. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, took the decision in this regard. Umm Nahd has allotted land for house construction in Fourth District. The area is located south of Al Qudra Lake between Al Qudra and Al Ain roads.

Families will be given an interest-free loan of 10 lakh dirhams for house construction. According to a note released by the Executive Office, the plots were allotted in the interest of Sheikh Mohammed to ensure family stability and provide the highest quality of life to the citizens.

Immigrants can apply for the place from 27th of this month. Last year, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid announced that he would spend 6,500 crore dirhams over 20 years to ensure high-quality housing for UAE citizens in Dubai. He declared that a quality home is a dignity and a right.
