Muscat: The graduation ceremony of the 222nd batch of officer cadets of Britain’s Royal Military Academy was held in a grand ceremony at Sandhurst. The ruler of Oman, Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, attended the event as patron.

Among those who graduated from Sandhurst was the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Sayyid Tejasin bin Haitham Al Saeed. On his arrival at the academy headquarters, Sultan was received by the Commander, Major General Duncan Capps

Syed Tejasin bin Haitham Al Saeed and other graduates inspected the parade and interacted with some of the Sultan. He requested them to maintain the spirit of dedication and achieve more in all fields in a way that would enhance the prestige of their respective countries.

The Sultan also met Omani officers studying at the academy and congratulated them on their graduation. The graduation ceremony was attended by the wife of the Sultan, Bill Arab bin Haitham Al Saeed and the Ambassador of Oman to the United Kingdom.
