London: Presidential candidate Rishi Sunak has promised to end China’s encroachment in Britain on the first day of his inauguration. China is looting the country’s technology and infiltrating universities. Sunak clarified that all this will be prevented.

It will end and close 30 Chinese-run Confucius Institutes in Britain. Rishi Sunak said that this will help prevent China’s interference in language and culture.

Britain’s domestic spy agency MI5 will be used against China’s espionage. He also announced “NATO-style” international cooperation to counter Chinese threats in cyberspace. Sunak also accused the Belt and Road project of economically destroying countries that cooperate with China.
