Honor will start selling the Honor Pad 8 this weekend

Honor joins the list of manufacturers that offer tablets with huge screens. The company will actually launch the Honor Pad 8 at the end of the week, a tablet with an inch-sized screen with a resolution of 2000×1200 pixels, with a screen-to-body ratio of 87%. It is 7.2 mm thick and weighs only 520 grams, even though the body is all metal.

However, compared to other tablets with huge screens on the market, the processor chosen by Honor for the Honor Pad 8 is relatively modest. It is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 680 (Qualcomm), a mid-market processor with a long history in the market. The tablet will come with 128 gigabytes of built-in storage memory, but next to it you will be able to choose 4 or 6 gigabytes of working memory.

Honor has equipped its new tablet with one rear camera and one front camera, and in both cases it is a 5 megapixel camera, and as you can see in the photos, it has also chosen to integrate it, on the back, within a prominent and relatively large enclosure as is the best trend in the market.

The company integrated no less than eight speakers in the tablet, four treble and four bass, and the entire audio system supports advanced technologies such as DTS:X and Honor’s own Histen. According to the company, it has incorporated technology in which you can work in front of the company’s phone as an additional screen, and vice versa.

The battery has a working capacity of 7,250 mAh and is charged at a maximum power of 22.5 watts. The base price should be around $220 only.
