Report: The Montpellier coach was not impressed by Dor Peretz

by time news

More than a month has passed since Dor Peretz became a free agent and it is still unclear what his future holds. After the report according to which Montpellier was interested in the Israeli connection, now the French media claim that it is not at all certain that it will progress beyond that.

According to the report, Montpellier is trying to add cheap free agents and the club’s scouting department offered Dor Peretz. However, coach Olivier D’Aloglio was not impressed, and he is the one who should decide whether to carry out the process of signing the midfielder.

Peretz, who joined Venice as a free agent from Maccabi Tel Aviv, left after only one season relying on a clause in the contract according to which he could do so if the team was relegated to the second Italian league, which indeed happened. The Israeli participated in 21 games in all competitions in which he scored twice.
