Tirunelveli, Tirunelveli Transport Commissioner C. Natarajan has been suspended.
C. Natarajan, who was the Deputy Commissioner in Chennai in the Transport Department of the Tamil Nadu Government. On March 14, the anti-bribery police suddenly raided his office and seized Rs. 35 lakh in cash.
In this regard, the bribery police registered a case against C. Natarajan and his assistant. After this incident, he became the RTO of Tirunelveli Transport Department. Tamil Nadu Additional Chief Secretary Panindara Reddy suspended him yesterday citing the practice that he cannot continue in office after the police registered a case of bribery in the office. The order also states that he can go anywhere else from Tirunelveli without prior permission.
