New York: Elliot Sensman grew up playing with snakes from the age of 10. Over the years he has become very skilled in handling snakes. But finally death came to the 27-year-old in the form of a snake. Elliot died the other day after an 18-foot-long python bit his neck at his home in Pennsylvania.

Relatives said Elliott had a keen interest in snakes from a young age. Elliott started the project six years ago to save the many snakes whose owners are unable to feed them. Such snakes were taken and kept in facilities suited to their nature and habitats.

Three snakes were being kept at Elliott’s home at the time of the accident. Among the three snakes, the one with the most aggressive nature was the one that strangled Elliot’s neck. He was killed by a boa constrictor snake. He was admitted to the hospital in critical condition after the snake wound around his neck. It was the grandmother who saw Elliot coiled around the snake. They immediately informed the police.

When the police reached the spot, they saw a young man lying motionless with a huge snake around his neck. Then the snake was expertly shot in the head and then separated from the young man’s body. Elliott was immediately rushed to the hospital. Elliott died after four days in critical condition at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Upper Macungie Township.
