Words that are sure to get people talking. In an interview with Kicker, Thomas Meunier gave his opinion on Neymar’s current level at PSG. The two men played together for three seasons between 2017 and 2020, before the Belgian left for Borussia Dortmund (Bundesliga), his current club.
« I have to admit that I was a huge fan of Neymar when he was still playing at Barcelona. The remontada, it’s entirely him. If I had been 10, I would have had his poster in my room. In Paris, however, it has lost its magic, from my point of view“, confessed Thomas Meunier about the Brazilian star. Neymar meanwhile shone yesterday in PSG’s last friendly match against Gamba Osaka (6-2). Seduced by the new coach Christophe Galtier, the Brazilian has made it known that he wishes to stay in the club of the capital next season.

For his part, Thomas Meunier has already completed two seasons at Borussia Dortmund since leaving Paris. He finished second in the Bundesliga last year, and won the German Cup the year before.
