Tal, who signed a contract until 2027, will become the most expensive 17-year-old player ever in history. The previous record was held by Jude Bellingham who moved from Birmingham to Dortmund. The central striker will join Bayern’s senior squad and will serve in the first phase as a replacement player for Sadio Mane and the other attacking players.
“I joined one of the best teams in the world and I intend to give everything for it,” Tal said in the official announcement. “The conversations I had with Hasan Salihamidzic and the other people in charge at Bayern really impressed me and helped me make a quick decision to join Munich.”
Tal, who was wanted by many teams in the world, played in the top league in France in only 7 games in a Run uniform and did not score. He also participates in the games of the French national team up to the age of 17 and 18.
