Tamil Nadu police woman won gold in high jump in the competition held in the Netherlands

Nagercoil: A world-class athletics competition for policemen and firefighters is underway in the Netherlands. Police and fire service personnel from various countries have participated. Attu Krishnarekha, a female police officer working in the anti-trafficking unit of Kumari district, has also been included in the Indian team. Krishnarekha participated in the high jump competition held there yesterday (25th) and won a gold medal.

Various leaders and high officials are praising him. Kumari District Superintendent of Police Harikiran Prasad contacted Krishnarekha on phone and conveyed his best wishes. Krishnarekha has already won gold in the high jump at the 2019 World Guard Firefighters Athletics Championships held in China. He has won gold in 100m race, long jump and high jump in district and national competitions for police and firemen this year.

Notably, by winning the national level competition, he qualified to participate in the World Level Athletics Competition for Police and Firefighters held in the Netherlands. Krishnarekha’s victory has caused great joy among the Kumari district police.
