In the meantime, the Supreme Court ordered the return of the hearing on the request for approval of a class action against the central company to the district court, this in order to discuss the request for disclosure of documents, and later decide on the request for approval in accordance with the standards for the application of the reason for the excessive price as established.

Coca-Cola stated: “The Supreme Court today unanimously annulled the decision of the District Court, which approved the conduct of a class action against the central company on the grounds that the price of Coca-Cola in a family bottle is “excessive”. The Supreme Court ruled that the class action plaintiff did not even prima facie prove , as required at the stage of approval of the management of a class action, that the price of the drink is excessive and certainly not unfair (as required by the decision of the Supreme Court)”.
