In Vridthachalam, a 12th class student hanged herself in frustration as her parents did not speak to her.
The 17-year-old daughter of Gopi, a resident of Vrudhachalam Aiyar Mada Street, Cuddalore district, was studying 12th standard in a private matriculation school in Vrudhachalam Periyar town. In this case, he suddenly committed suicide by hanging last night. His funeral was held today. On being informed about this, the Vriddhachalam police hurriedly seized the body of the girl and sent it to the Vriddhachalam Government Hospital for post-mortem examination.
When the police investigated about his suicide, Sivakami said that he did not study properly and because of this he committed suicide by writing a letter stating that he had hanged himself due to depression due to his parents not talking to him. And the police are actively investigating the cause of his death as his death is suspicious.
It is also said that due to not studying properly, the parents were under stress as they did not talk to each other face to face. He was also said to be suffering from intractable stomach pain.
