ONE’s “Opening a season” project continues. The Premier League teams armed themselves and also released quite a few players and this is exactly the time to put things in order. So who stays, who breaks up, who joins and who swings? And also: embarking on a new journey. And this time: Hapoel Haifa.

Players who joined the club: To Andrew Silva, Dino Stiglitz, Kwame Kavi, Andrey Miron, Ilya Markovski, Shuval Gozlan, Amit Meir, Gidi Kaniuk and Nikita Mutapan.

Returning to fight for a top playoff:
Hapoel Haifa returned Nir Klinger to the position of coach for a third term, when in the previous times they won the position of coach with him in three titles: the State Cup, the Toto Cup and the Champion of Champions. After a season in which the team did not reach the top playoffs, the main goal this year is to return to the top six and for that a major facelift was done. Eight players joined, of which five are new foreigners, with the intention being to field a strong team on all levels.
Klinger remains to work with the existing team that includes his assistant, Meir Ben Margi, goalkeeper coach Finny Avraham and fitness coach Danny Bibbs. The team said goodbye to one of its best players in the front, Alan Ozhbolt, when in his place they added Shuval Gozlan after a good season in Hapoel Hadera. The million dollar question is when and in what condition Louis Taha, who is recovering from a long injury, will return. If the brakeman does not return to the league ready, there will be no escape from adding another brakeman. The team will also rely this season on a number of home players such as Gal Aral, Hanan Maman and Liran Sardal, when the thing that Klinger is most interested in seeing is Alon Turgeman returning to score in bunches.
