Insisting on giving salary relief to co-operative society employees

Leader of the Opposition Arsiva urged the Chief Minister to give wage hike to the employees of cooperative societies including the Agricultural Cooperative Bank in Puduvai.

I. Siva met Chief Minister N. Rangasamy at the Puducherry Legislative Assembly office on Tuesday and presented the petition. Out of which, more than 400 people are working in 43 primary agricultural cooperative banks in Puduwai. Fifth Pay Commission recommendations were implemented for them last year 2010. 2020 Salary Allowance has not been provided.

Therefore, it was mentioned in the petition that at least the recommendation of the Sixth Pay Commission should be implemented and salary hike should be given to them.

During the meeting with the Chief Minister, Co-operative Credit Union workers were present along with Sangha Thalaivar Gunasekaran, DMK administrators Ramasamy, Selvanathan and others.
