Chennai: A student committed suicide again in Tamil Nadu. A plus one student of Sivakasi Ayyampetty village was found hanging dead at her house on Tuesday evening.
With this, the number of female students who committed suicide within two weeks in the state has increased to four. Three plus two students had committed suicide earlier. Three of them died in the last two days. A senior police official said that nothing can be said until the investigation is completed.

No suicide note was found. The police have started a detailed investigation into the incident. The police said that the girl had severe abdominal pain. In Cuddalore district, hours after a Plus Two student hanged herself at her house, a Plus One student was found hanging dead at her house in the same manner in Sivakasi.
Chief Minister M.K. Stalin had requested. On July 13, the first girl took her own life in Tullukurichi district. The protest which took place after the suicide of a student of a private residential school resulted in a conflict. The police arrested five people including the school principal.
