Chennai,

All India Equality People’s Party President R. Sarathkumar has said in a statement:-

In order to add more fame to Tamil Nadu and India in the international arena, the 44th Chess Olympiad of the International Chess Federation will be held in India for the first time, especially in Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu, from 28th to 10th August. It is a very proud event for all Tamilians and Indians.

It is commendable that the Tamil Nadu government has carried out the development work for the chess tournament in a short period of time as an opportunity to present the culture and tradition of Tamil Nadu to the world, and in such a way that the world can marvel at the excellence of Tamil Nadu.

With around 1800 contestants from more than 180 countries taking part in the competition, Tamil Nadu and Chennai have attracted extra attention among international countries and international people.

On behalf of the All India Equality People’s Party, I wish all the contestants who are coming to Chennai from international countries to participate in the Chess Olympiad, fully demonstrate their skills and win.

It says so.
