According to the monitoring “MK in Saratov” the average cost of apples from market sellers today is 50-65 rubles kg, in stores – two to three times higher. For example, the Auchan hypermarket sells domestic apples at a price of 60 to 159 rubles per kilo. The well-known variety of apples “Simirenko” is sold for 99 rubles 99 kopecks, “Granny Smith” at the same price, the variety “Red Delicious” – 109 rubles 99 kopecks, apples of the “Creeps pink” variety are 159 rubles 99 kopecks per kg. At this rate, in November, the spring price level will be taken, when the fruit stocks run out, at 200 rubles per kilo.
