Indeed, a quick check reveals that half of the countries in the top ten rank very low in the GDP per capita index, according to a table published by the Worldometer website and based on World Bank data from 2017: Fiji is in 108th place, with a GDP per capita 44% lower than the average the global; India is in 122nd place, with a figure 58% lower than the average; Kyrgyzstan is in 148th place, with a figure 78% lower than the average; Moldova in 133rd place, 67% below average; And Nepal is in 159th place, with a figure 84% lower than the global average.
