Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu on the road accident in Binyamin: “Avenging them for the hard revenges”

by time news

After a difficult day on the roads with an unusual number of fatalities, Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu was asked about the serious accident in Binyamin in which the six-year-old boy, Matan Zinman, was killed. The rabbi was asked: “Is a Jew who was killed in a car accident with Arabs considered to have died for the sanctification of Hashem?”.

Rabbi Eliyahu wrote in his post: “According to the mother’s words, this is an attack aimed at murdering Jews – surely he will be called dead for the sanctification of Hashem. What does it matter in what way they killed him? The main thing is that they intend to harm Hashem, may God be blessed, by harming the people of Israel. Therefore, the State of Israel must take revenge on them for the harshness of their revenge To God’s vengeance. May it be, and whoever said enough to his world, will say enough to our troubles.”

The funeral of 6-year-old Matan Zinman

As I recall, the funeral of the late Zinman was held yesterday (Thursday) on Mount Hamanuhut. Haim, Matan’s father, gave a eulogy: “I love you my son, mother wanted very much to come and she can’t, but she wanted me to tell you ‘You were a sweet boy, I wanted To see you grow up and that won’t happen’. Your case is ready for first grade, you’ve been talking about it for two years, but unfortunately you won’t be able to be in first grade.”

“I’m sorry I wasn’t there to catch you. My dear, I won’t see you anymore and neither will mom, we’ll miss you very much. You’ve never seen me cry and now you do. I want to say thank you for six good years that made us so happy. You were a brother Well, you will always be with us. We will miss you, we will never forget you.”

Chaim read the obituary written by Matan’s mother, Rivka, who could not come due to her injury to accompany her son on his last journey: “It’s unthinkable that I won’t see you, all the children loved you, there is a hole in the family forever. I’m sorry you were so excited for first grade. That I wasn’t there to catch you.”
