Kolkata: In the West Bengal teacher appointment scam case, actress Arpita, who is close to former education minister Partha Chatterjee, has reportedly gone missing along with 4 luxury cars, cash and important documents. The search for these is going on.

A massive corruption in the appointment of teachers and staff in West Bengal has come to light. Partha Chatterjee, who was the education minister in West Bengal, stashed the bribe money he received from the illegal appointment of teachers and staff in the house of his close friend actress Arpita Mukherjee.

50 crore cash, 5 kg of gold jewelery and property documents were seized during the raid conducted by the enforcement officers at 2 houses owned by actress Arpita. Subsequently, his 3rd and 4th houses were also searched. 3rd house is not afflicted.

Meanwhile, actress Arpita’s luxury cars along with money and important documents are said to have gone missing. Actress Arpita Mukherjee owns 4 luxury cars namely Audi A4, Honda City, Honda CRV and Mercedes Benz. When the enforcement agencies arrested actress Arpita, only her white Benz car was confiscated. Other cars are being searched.

2.2 crore in the bank account

3 bank accounts of actress Arpita Mukherjee have been frozen by enforcement agencies. Out of which Rs. 2.2 crores in cash. He is a director in 3 companies. After getting involved with Partha Chatterjee, actress Arpita has been appointed as the director of these companies. A black diary was recovered from actress Arpita’s house on Tuesday. It contains details of bribes received from illegal appointees in the appointment of teachers.

Refusal of medical examination

The Kolkata Special Court has extended the custody of the arrested Partha Chatterjee and actress Arpita Mukherjee till August 3. The court ordered them to undergo a medical examination once in 2 days. Accordingly, the two who appeared for questioning at the Enforcement Department office yesterday were taken to ESI Hospital for medical examination. But refusing to attend the medical examination, actress Arpita sat in the car and started crying. He was forcibly dragged by the policewomen. He sat down on the ground under the car and started crying.

He was then taken to the hospital in a wheelchair. He went to the hospital crying. Partha Chatterjee also went to the hospital in a wheelchair. “They have hatched a conspiracy and trapped me,” he said in an interview.

Mamata plans to meet the Prime Minister

Former West Bengal Minister Partha Chatterjee has been implicated in the teacher appointment scam. So far Rs 50 crore cash has been seized from the houses of actress Arpita, who is close to him. BJP leaders are accusing not only Partha Chatterjee but also Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee of being involved in this corruption case.

In this context, Chief Minister Mamata will participate in the Niti Aayog Executive Committee meeting to be held in Delhi on August 7. For this purpose, he is going to Delhi on the 4th and is planning to meet the President Draupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Modi. Mamata had boycotted the Niti Aayog board meeting held through video last year. This year he himself is directly participating in the meeting. His visit to Delhi is a hot topic in political circles. After Partha Chatterjee’s arrest, Trinamool Congress MPs in Parliament are adopting a more moderate line, say political observers.
