It should be a happy ending for little Kelyson’s family, but investigators don’t hear it that way. Only 24 hours after his father reported the disappearance of the child to the Rouen police, the boy was found by the latter. According to him, Kelyson would actually be with his uncles and aunts on the border between the Dominican Republic and Haiti.
His father had explained to investigators that his son was playing football at the foot of his building on Monday around 4 p.m. before disappearing. But the search teams began to doubt the credibility of his version of events when they failed to find direct witnesses to the events. The call for witnesses remained unanswered, no one in the neighborhood saw the little boy playing ball or being approached by a stranger.
No track is ruled out
According to information from France Bleu, the police would therefore consider the trail of visa fraud. The child would never have gone to France, making believe in a kidnapping could thus make it possible to repatriate him. No track is ruled out at present, “It is not excluded on the one hand that the child is in Haiti, and on the other hand that he has never come to France”, specified the floor at Actu76. The investigation is continuing to try to understand the circumstances behind this disappearance.
