SNCF and Air France-KLM fill up with travelers in July, after two years marked by the Covid

by time news

Quite a symbol. After two years of Covid, and planes grounded, there were crowds at airports on this traditional crossover weekend between Julyists and Augustians. “In total, no less than 417,000 passengers will pass through our Orly and Roissy airports,” said the Air France-KLM spokesperson with satisfaction. At the SNCF, we draw a similar observation: between Friday July 29 and Sunday July 31, a million travelers are expected in long-distance trains. Over the July-August period, 22 million tickets (TGV Inoui, Ouigo, Intercités and TER) were sold, a record!
