Delta Air Lines announced the launch of direct flights from Tel Aviv to Atlanta

The American airline Delta Air Lines is increasing its operations to Israel, and announced the reactivation of the direct flight line between Atlanta and Tel Aviv, starting on May 8, 2023, and this in addition to the direct flights from Tel Aviv to Boston and New York-JFK. These are three flights a week that will allow passengers to enjoy two hundred connecting flights throughout the US and beyond.

Delta flights from Tel Aviv to Atlanta, which will be operated on Thursday, Saturday and Monday, will take off at 11:30 and land in Atlanta at 17:55 (local time). Passengers will be able to continue from Atlanta with direct flights to destinations such as: Los Angeles, San Francisco, Orlando and Miami. In total, Delta will operate 13 flights a week between Israel and the USA starting next summer.

Esti Hershkowitz, Delta’s commercial director in Israel: “Delta is happy to expand our flight network from Tel Aviv with the addition of the direct flight to Atlanta – the largest departure gate throughout the USA. The possibility of offering our passengers a third direct flight between Tel Aviv and the USA will allow more opportunities for growth, both for the business world and for leisure and freedom flights between the two countries.’

Anat Sultan-Dadoon, Israel’s Consul General for the Southeast USA: “We welcome Delta’s important decision to renew the direct flight line between Atlanta and Tel Aviv, a decision that many have been waiting for for a long time. The direct flight will serve to strengthen the close relations between Israel, the state of Georgia and the southeastern United States. We are sure that the flights will have a unique and important impact on our relationships on many issues including: political, economic, academic and cultural.’
