The Seven Wonders of the Ancient World
This is the first list, created by the ancient Greeks in 225 BC: the Great Pyramid at Giza, the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, the Statue of Zeus at Olympia, the Temple of Artemis at Ephesus, the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus, the Colossus of Rhodes and the Lighthouse of Alexandria.

Scholars of the time wanted to create a list that medieval people would have thought of, and as such, ancient wonders are also included: Stonehenge (England), the Leaning Tower of Pisa (Italy), the Colosseum (Italy), Hagia Sophia (Turkey), the Great Wall of China, the Catacombs of Come to Shukafa (Egypt) and Nanjing Tower (China).

The latest list that came out is a list published by the Hilton company in 2018, of the Seven Wonders of the Urban World, also through the votes of the masses: the Louvre (United Arab Emirates), the Sydney Opera House (Australia), the Tsukiji Fish Market (Japan), Camden (England), The Bund (China), Temple Street Night Markets (China) and Albertina (Austria).
