Visa on Arrival is a visa issued when you visit a country. This category is given to foreigners who need a visa to enter a country but do not need to apply in advance of travel. It is especially offered to travelers going for short trips.

Bhutan:

Indian travelers wishing to visit Bhutan can now go visa-free. All you need to do for this is carry any of the following 2 valid travel documents. The first is an Indian passport with a minimum validity of 6 months. Another is the Voter ID card issued by the Election Commission of India.

Cambodia (VOA):

Indians wishing to visit Cambodia can apply for Visa-on-Arrival (VOA). However, this may take some time. So apply for visa online just before departure. The entire process including form filling will take few minutes to complete. According to records, most people get their visas in 3-4 business days.

Indonesia:

Indian travelers can visit the beautiful country of Indonesia without a visa. But make sure your travel period is within 30 days. A visa exemption stamp should be obtained from the immigration counter. If you are visiting Indonesia for more than 30 days, you can apply for VOA when you enter there.

Laos (VOA):

Laos is another beautiful country that Indians can visit without visa hassles. One does not have to struggle to apply for a Laos visa in advance. Although VOA is easily obtained in Laos it is only issued for 30 days. Also one should hold a passport valid for at least 6 months from the time of entry into Laos.

Macau:

Indian travelers planning to travel for only 30 days do not require a visa to visit Macau. A person entering this country must hold a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry.

Maldives (VOA):

This beautiful island nation offers free VOA to Indian travelers. Note that on-arrival tourist visas for Indians in Maldives are valid for 30 days from the date of arrival, which can be extended up to 90 days.

Myanmar (VOA):

Indian travelers can easily avail VOA while in Myanmar. It allows a maximum stay of 30 days in Myanmar. After arriving in Myanmar one can pay this fee at the airport in the country and then get the visa stamped.

Nepal:

Indians do not need a visa to visit neighboring Nepal. However should have proper documentary evidence issued by Government of India, Election Commission of India etc.

Sri Lanka (VOA):

If you have Indian passport then you can get VOA while going to Sri Lanka. However, to obtain the document one must apply for Sri Lanka’s Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) before traveling to the country.

Thailand (VOA):

Indians visiting Thailand for tourism purposes are allowed to enter Thailand under the Visa on Arrival scheme. Also one should possess a passport valid for at least 30 days.
