The album has 16 tracks in a rhythmic and smoky atmosphere of nightclubs and strip clubs, ballrooms, bars and wine cellars, alternately. Black beats with a trendy queer wink. The first single from the album, “Break My Soul”, was very successful and also sparked claims against Beyoncé for music theft. The album cover also caused an uproar because of Beyoncé’s minimal clothing. There are several good songs on the album, and tributes to Donna Summer and Grace Jones.
