Elon Musk, the world’s richest man, moved his headquarters from Silicon Valley to Texas last December. Musk, who runs several companies including Tesla and SpaceX, is currently planning to build an airport for his own use, a local website reported.
It also said that a site has been chosen for the airport near Bastrop in East Austin, Texas, and it is not known when work will begin on it.
Elan and his company own thousands of acres of land in Central Texas, including 2,100 acres in Kiha Texas. Over the years, SpaceX and Boring have acquired land. The purpose of the airport is not known. Because an airport already operates on 585 acres in nearby Austin.
At the opening of Kiha Texas, Musk boasted that his factory is a 10-minute drive from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. Musk has been spending a lot of time in Texas lately. Because its gigafactory there is ramping up production. He described it as a “giant money furnace”. 
Elon Musk is planning to upgrade his Gulfstream (Gulfstream G650ER) to the G700 at a price of 78 million, according to the Astonio website news agency. A US Aviation Administration permit is required to set up a private airport. And the need to fulfill environmental conditions. In addition, local group regulations may also apply.
But the Bastrop Council and its economic development agency said no plans for the airport have been forthcoming. It is noteworthy that no official announcement has been made by Elon Musk regarding the private airport.
