The star took his own life between 4 and 5 August 1962. Over time there have been many theories between murders and conspiracies

The night between 4 and 5 August 1962 Marilyn Monroe is found lifeless in her room: naked, lying face down on the bed, she is holding the telephone receiver. Her death is officially filed as probable suicide, caused by an overdose of barbiturates. From that moment, however, the reconstruction of her last hours and the many theories, including conspirators, on her death, which occurred at the age of 36, have not stopped holding the bench, shrouding in mystery the disappearance of one of the most fascinating divas ever.

Marilyn, nata Norma Jeane Mortenson, had spent that Saturday, August 4 at home, in her mansion in Brentwood, Los Angeles, where she lived alone with housekeeper Eunice Murray. Between phone calls, business visits, therapy sessions with her psychiatrist, she had retired early to her room. And around 3.30 am the housekeeper, convinced that there was something anomalous, got up, finding the light on under her door, locked, and getting no response from the actress.

Over the years the hypotheses of murder they brought up now the Kennedy family, now the secret services, now organized crime. But in 1982, when the case was re-examined, no evidence emerged that would lead to a reconstruction other than the official one.
