A charitable fund (PWCF) set up by Prince Charles has reportedly received a donation from the family of slain al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden.

According to a report by the UK media Sunday Times, Prince Charles met with Bakr, the half-brother of the founder of Al Qaeda, in London and received 1 million British pounds. But the report also states that many advisors of the royal family have asked to return this money.

Meanwhile, the prince’s office has denied reports of personal involvement in the matter. Only the trustees of the charity can decide on this. A spokesman for Clarence House said the issue was being misrepresented.
