Nothing proves the phone durability test (1) that the phone will not break easily

JerryRigEverything, known on YouTube famous for its durability videos, did a durability test of the Nothing Phone (1) and the results showed that it was built like a tank.

Nothing for the phone (1) has an iPhone 12/13-inspired design with square edges and symmetrical edges at all corners. The phone comes in two colors: black and white. The side frame is made entirely of recycled aluminum, including the buttons. It can be scratched by sharp objects. This is what makes the phone so powerful and unique. There are 5G antenna stripes on the sides, with a white color tone. The volume button is on the left, while the power button is on the right edge.

The front and back of the phone are glass. Durability test shows windshield scratches at level 6 and deeper scratches at level 7. This is very expected of glass. Through the fire test, the screen was able to survive without signs of burn for up to 40 seconds and after that, I was able to recover those pixels as well.

The real test of a phone is its durability. This is where we see some interesting results. Thanks to the aluminum body, the phone does not easily bend or break in half but there is a twist. The phone has a strange bend when bending from the front around the antenna’s range line. We hear a creaking sound indicating that it might break in half but this does not happen in the video.

This squeaking sound does not occur when trying to bend from the back. It seems that there is a powerful mechanism internally that prevents the phone from breaking. Fortunately, although the phone is bent, it is not completely bent. The Nothing Phone (1) passes the durability test.

Perhaps it is good to know that Nothing Phone (1) does not break easily as a separate video shows that the phone is difficult to repair.
