Demand for wood pellets on the rise: no shortage in sight, provided you are reasonable

Pellet sales professionals had never experienced such a summer. As more and more households are equipped with pellet stoves and boilers, demand for this fuel exploded in July. “Our distributors tell us of a demand five times higher than usual”, exclaims Éric Vial, director of Propellet, the national association of wood pellet heating professionals, who confides that some sellers no longer take new customers at the moment.
