Almog Booker, a Channel 13 reporter who closely follows the soccer players and minors case, tweeted today in response to the closure of the alcohol supply case against the players by the district attorney’s office.
Almog Booker’s tweet: “The district attorney’s explanation in the interview with Guy Peleg for closing the alcohol supply case is incomprehensible: 1. There is no dispute that there was alcohol, 2. There is no dispute that the minors consumed alcohol, 3. There is no doubt that the players knew they were under the legal age. So why did you close it “They were suspected of a more serious crime, so I thought it was inappropriate to prosecute them for supplying alcohol.”

The case of minors and footballers Omer Atzili and Dor Micah is back in the headlines these days. The two, who were then Maccabi Tel Aviv players, later wandered following the affair that was closed without charges. After it became known that the girls lied about their age when they said they were over the age, the investigation is reopened.

News 13 showed conversations between the two footballers with new and particularly disturbing details. According to the investigation materials, Atzili and Micah correspond with each other about the possibility of stocking up on prohibited substances for meeting the girls, and are trying to add another friend. In addition, they repeatedly refer to them as girls and minors.
