New Delhi: India-Thailand bilateral trade has crossed 15 billion dollars in the last financial year. Union Minister of State for External Affairs Rajkumar Ranjan Singh stated that economic cooperation in the fields of trade, investment and tourism has achieved great growth in recent years. He was speaking at the North East Festival in Bangkok.
He stated that Thailand has become the fourth largest trading center in the region and its reflection is reflected in the surge in income. The Indian market is still very popular with Thai investors. India offers huge opportunities in infrastructure development sectors such as road ports, energy sector, food processing and digital technology.
Thai Deputy Prime Minister Jurin Laksana said that historically and geographically, Thailand and India share a lot of similarities.
Small entrepreneurs from India and government agencies interacted with 60 industrialists from Thailand at a trade fair held as part of the festival.
