Pakistan’s Election Commission has confirmed that former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s party has received millions of dollars in funding from banned foreign companies.
After 8 years, the Election Commission of the country has investigated the corruption complaint filed by one of Imran Khan’s PTI party founders against the same party in 2014.
The Election Commission has confirmed that a large number of banned foreign persons, including Dubai-based business magnate Arif Naqvi, have raised funds from companies involved in the financial institution fraud case, and has questioned why the money should not be confiscated.
It is said that Imran Khan may be banned from politics because of receiving illegal money.
