Two Malayalis died in a car accident in Dubai. The deceased have been identified as Vanika Peedikail Latif (46) from Koyilandi, Kozhikode and Muhammad Arshad (54) from Thalassery Arailakattu Puthipura. The accident took place when a trailer hit a pick-up van carrying a Malayali on Dubai Emirates Road.
The accident happened in the afternoon. Both died on the spot. The body is being kept at Sharjah Alkasmia Hospital. Voluntary organizations are trying to bring the dead body to the country as soon as possible.
