ED officials raided 12 locations on Tuesday in connection with the money laundering case. The ED team visited the Herald office at Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg in central Delhi with the intention of finding more evidence in the case. Meanwhile, police were deployed and barricades were set up in front of the AICC headquarters, outside Sonia Gandhi’s residence and on the way to Rahul Gandhi’s residence. Senior leader Jairam Ramesh came forward to condemn the police action. He tweeted that the action of Delhi Police is mysterious.
The ED team questioned Congress President Sonia Gandhi and former president Rahul Gandhi for several hours in connection with the National Herald case.
