In accordance with the directive of the mayor, Rafi Sa’ar, together with the professionals in the municipality, the public shelters were opened yesterday.
Please note: it is recommended to stay near a protected area.
Time to enter the protected area – within 90 seconds (one and a half minutes), from the moment the alarm sounds.
What is a protected space?
- at home: MMD or shelter
- outside: Staircase on the middle floor of a building or underground parking lot
- Commercial center: Make sure in advance where the protected space is
- in the car: Get out of the vehicle immediately and move away from it. Lie on the ground and cover your head with your hands.
You must stay in the protected area for at least 10 minutes after hearing the sirens or receiving the update on the Home Front Command application.
Please note: the public sirens are mainly intended for those who are outside the house at the time of the alarm. That’s why it’s important to download the Home Front Command app
