Baruch Dayan Amma: At this hour (Sunday) comes the bitter news of the passing of Rabbi Yosef Meir HaCohen Deutsch, the brother of Rabbi Baruch Shmuel Deutsch and Rabbi Asher Deutsch.
The deceased was born 73 years ago, to his father, Rabbi Binyamin Ze’ev Deutsch, who served for many years as the director of ‘nursing homes’ next to Yeshivas Ponivez – in Bnei Brak, by his choice he was educated in the city of Torah and studied at Yeshiva Ponivez.
After his wedding, he established his place of residence in the city of Bnei Brak, a few years after his wedding, at the behest of his elders, he began to engage in “Kirov”, and was one of the leaders of the “Activists” in the city of Beer Sheva, where he was able to bring many people closer to our Father in Heaven. “B.
R. Yosef was attached with all his heart to his older brother, who is in need of the mercy of heaven – Rabbi Deutsch for the Reposh and even stayed by his side in the hospital, throughout the last Shavuot
About a month ago, Rabbi Yosef suddenly collapsed while staying at the Midrash in Be’er Sheva and it was discovered that he was suffering from a hemorrhage in his brain and since then his condition was defined as very serious, until his passing this evening to protect the hearts of his many students and family members.
He won and left behind him blessed righteous generations, all of them follow the path of the Torah and mitzvot.
The funeral procession left tonight at 12:30, from the synagogue ‘Telimdi Yeshiva Ponibez – Young’ to Beit Chaim in Bnei Brak, where he will be laid to rest.
