The two “fixed” fires, 90 hectares of forest burned

The two fires which broke out on Sunday evening in the forest of Double, in the west of the Dordogne, were “fixed” on Monday morning after burning nearly 90 hectares, the department’s firefighters said on Monday.

The prefecture specifies that 80 hectares of forest have been devastated in the town of La Roche-Chalais, and between six and eight in that of Eygurande-et-Gardedeuil, 15 km apart from each other.
