Charlie Russo from Canada is now 25 years old. Her mother conceived her when she was a teenager. The mother’s living conditions did not allow her to raise the child. They decided to destroy their daughter. They tried to have an abortion. But the baby did not die. She survived. But she was born with one arm and half a leg as a result of her mother’s act.
She is currently based in Rouen-Noranda, Quebec, Canada. Despite all these challenges, she grew up like a normal child. When she reached her teenage years, her mother opened up to her about what had happened. The mother told her daughter that the abortion failed because of the doctor’s hand injury at the hospital. Finally the doctor told them that nothing more could be done. Mom could try again if she wanted to. Otherwise, a case could have been filed against the hospital. But Charlie says that her mother was not interested in informing the locals or making an incident of it.
Charlie also says that he was never aware of how he was. It was because of her parents. They did not distinguish their daughter in any way. She gave her daughter all the freedom a child should be given. She studied in a normal school. She had lots of friends there. She also insisted that none of this should ever become a shackle. Although her childhood was uneventful, as she entered her teenage years, she began to have self-doubts. As her friends started going out on dates and hanging out with boys, she began to worry that someone would fall in love with her. She also wanted to go on dates and fall in love. But she remembered who would like to see her short and different.
