Joseph Dionysius Quesnay, attorney Yenifer Paredesconfirmed —in statements to La República— that he does not know the whereabouts of his sponsored, this after the Special Team, carried out an intervention in the Government Palace, last Tuesday, in the framework of the investigation for the adjudications in the municipality of Anguia.
“I do not know his whereabouts at this time. She lives in Cajamarca, according to what she has told the Prosecutor’s Office”, said the lawyer José Quesnay, who also stressed that “the Prosecutor’s Office has requested a preliminary arrest measure, but that the actions are carried out without their knowledge”.
On this, the lawyer considered that the proceedings of the Prosecutor’s Office are due to a political issue. “We are going to face a political issue. Justice should not be administered at any cost. She (Yenifer Paredes) did not know about this measure“, he claimed.
Reliable sources to La República mentioned that the sister-in-law of peter castle, Yenifer Paredes, provided up to three different addresses of her home: one located in a village of Chota, in Cajamarca; another located in the Cerros de Villa urbanization, Chorrillos; and finally, the residential area of the Government Palace, in Cercado de Lima.
Both the Prosecutor’s Office and the DIVIAC (High Complexity Crimes Investigation Division) team were certain of finding her in the house inside the Palace, however, the sister-in-law of the head of state could not be found given that the Executive staff did not allow the entry of prosecutorial and police personnel for more than an hour. At the moment, Paredes is untraceable.
The Special Team against Corruption in Power (Eficcop) requested since last week that 15 days of detention be issued against those investigated, however, Judge Raúl Justiniano, of the Eighth Preparatory Investigation Court, only issued 10 days in his resolution.
In this line, the judge in question rejected the lifting of the communications against Yenifer Paredes, mayor of Anguía and the brothers Hugo and Anggi Espino Lucana.
organic structure
The hypothesis used by the Prosecutor’s Office is that peter castle would lead a criminal organization made up of the Minister of Housing, Geiner Alvarado, Yenifer Paredes and the first lady Lilia Paredes in order to favor businessmen Hugo and Anggi Espino through the “fraudulent public tenders” modality with the State.
- Boss: peter castle
- Ringleaders: Minister of Transport and Communications, Geiner Alvarado, and the Mayor of Anguía, José Medina Guerrero
- Coordinators: The first lady Lilia Paredes and “another relative of the president.”
- Figureheads: Hugo Espino, Anggy Espino, Yenifer Paredes, David Paredes Navarro and Walther Paredes Navarro
- Shell companies: JJM Espino Engineering and Construction SAC, and DESTCON Engineers and Architects SAC.
