The Israeli defense industry leads by a considerable margin the scope of revenues in the industry in the Middle East. This is according to the annual list of 100 defense companies published this week by the “Defense News” website. The three Israeli companies that entered the list, Elbit, Israel Aerospace Industries and Rafael, reached a total revenue of $11.7 billion in 2021 – much more than the Turkish companies that reached $4.36 billion.

The top Israeli company on the list is Elbit, which reached the 31st place in the world with a volume of revenue that is greater than the revenue of all the Turkish companies combined – 4.77 billion dollars in 2021, an increase of 13% from 4.22 billion dollars in 2020. The company dropped one place compared to last year.
