Chidambaram-Police have arrested a person who stole a house by looking at a house on rent in Chidambaram. The incident of breaking and stealing houses which were locked for the past 3 months continued in Chidambaram, Kadalur district. The day before yesterday there was a theft incident in a house in Annamalai Nagar Kothangudi Thop by breaking the window door. Meanwhile, the police, who conducted a vehicle inspection in Chidambaram city, arrested and interrogated Ganesan’s son Sethuraman, 34, of Angalamman Kovil Street. He was found to have broken the lock of Venkatesan’s house in South Vaniyar Street, Chidambaram last month and stole a silver lamp and money. Similarly, it was revealed that Srimushnam stole two pieces of jewelry from a woman at the bus station yesterday. It was also revealed that Sethuraman saw a house for rent board, went inside, left a note, and stole from unoccupied houses. The police arrested him and seized two Sawaran necklaces, three silver lamps and a bike from him.
